1. Plan your visit.

Think about how many people would like to come. Contact the team beforehand if you have special requests or are bringing children. We’ll agree on a suitable start time and length for your visit together.

2. Choose your pottery.

Pick a piece you like when you arrive at the studio, such as a mug or a plate. The selection can change, so you don’t need to decide on a specific piece before your visit.

Let its shape and surface inspire you. Would a delicate pattern work, a broad stripe of colour or a small drawing? There’s no set style to follow.

3. Try colours and ideas.

All materials are available in the studio. You paint your piece, with tips and techniques from the team whenever you need them. No experience is required. A prepared sketch can help, but it isn’t essential.

Take a step back, compare colours or let your next idea develop as you paint.

4. Talk through the next steps.

Our team will explain what happens to your piece after painting and when you can collect it. You’ll also receive information about the next steps and caring for your pottery.
