A creative break in Berlin that becomes something personal. At Call me Picasso, you decorate ready-made pottery with colours, patterns and your own personal touch.
It starts with a piece of pottery.
Perhaps it’s a mug for your morning coffee. Perhaps a plate that sparks an idea as you paint. In the studio, you choose a ready-made pottery piece and decorate it. Shaping clay and working on a pottery wheel are not part of the experience described here.
Bring an idea or find inspiration when you arrive. Sometimes a favourite colour, a simple stripe or a small sketch is all you need to begin. Ask the studio which pieces are currently available.
No experience needed.
You can paint pottery even if you’ve never tried it before. We provide the materials, and our team will help you get started. Ask questions, discover techniques and experiment at your own pace.
Your piece doesn’t have to look like a perfect example. An uneven line might be the very detail that makes it yours. If you prefer a simpler style, stick to a few colours and a gentle pattern.
Time for you. Or for all of you.
Come on your own, meet friends or get creative with your family. Painting makes room for conversation as well as your own ideas. Coffee, tea and other drinks are available in the studio.
